About the Association Leaders Conversations

The Conversations with Association Leaders is a platform created for purposes of sharing information, knowledge and experiences in managing through the COVID-19 Pandemic crisis. We believe that we can emerge from this crisis stronger by working together and creating collaborations amongst association leaders.

This week we are hosting leaders from the medical associations as they share their experiences and learnings in managing through the crisis.

Specifically, discussions will focus on:

  1. Assessment of the impact of COVID-19 crisis on the operations of Medical Associations and the effects on their members.
  2. Response from the Associations and engagement with key stakeholders among them the government.
  3. The emergence and management of new coalitions/collaborations with other associations.
  4. Delivery of events and Continuous Professional Development programmes (CPD)
  5. Financial sustainability of the Associations now and post Covid-19 crisis.
  6. Any key lessons emerging from the crisis that are likely to shift the paradigm in managing the Association?
