Mr. Kalisa is an economist by profession specializing in Econometrics, Trade policy, Investment Promotion, and Private Sector Development, and Taxation related issues. He holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce with Economics from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the National University of Rwanda.

He has an in-depth understanding of the regional economic communities and has participated fully in international, continental, and regional agreements negotiations.

Mr. John Bosco Kalisa has experience in private sector development and competitiveness having previously served as the Country Director of South Sudan for TradeMark East Africa
(TMEA). He has also worked with the Rwanda Private Sector Federation (PSF-Rwanda) and Rwanda Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning.

He has global connections with leading international development partners such as USAID, Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) African Development Bank and the World Bank.

As the EABC CEO/ Executive Director, Mr. KALISA steers the high-level policy advocacy at the EAC Heads of State and Ministerial level to push forward the EABC’s vision and mission of a borderless East Africa for increased business and investment

Mungai NFI is the co-founder of the I am a Cameroon movement and a Board member at AfSAE. He has previously served as the Global Policy and Government Relations Director for Africa, at the Global Citizen. He is also the founder BnM Consulting, Managing Partner at Indux Global and Consultant at Africa Plans. He is also a seasoned consultant with African Association Management Company (AFAMCO) on leadership and strategic planning. He is also former Growth and Development Director for Africa and the Middle East at Junior Chamber International (JCI)

He is currently a Board member of Pax SA, Africa Sustainable Energy Association, Greenage Energy, PrH Asset Managers, and UNEP task force on endangered species.

Chris speaks on many subjects, including Internationalization, Export and Import, Energy, AfCFTA, Sustainability, and Africa-for-Africa. He is also the founder of the Nigeria Alternative Energy Expo and Nigeria Energy awards that holds annually in Nigeria. Chris has organized and led various trade missions.

Zerihun Haile-Selassie is a distinguished financial executive, a strategic leader agile non-profit organization through transformational leadership for long-term sustainable growth, diversified revenue, business continuity plan, and risk management.

Mr. Zerihun has over 15 years of experience leading organizational financial sustainability, corporate investment strategy, trade association, human capital management, and growth-oriented financial management.

Zerihun is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Inteleos. This non-profit certification organization delivers rigorous assessments and cultivates a global community of professionals dedicated to the highest standards in healthcare and patient safety. In this role, Zerihun executes strategies that drive innovation, financial sustainability, international market expansion, legal risk management, strategize investment policy, and human capital management. He works closely with the Finance and Audit committee on financial strategies, revenue diversity, compliance management.

Magda acts as strategic partner of the ICF’s leadership, including the Board and variety of committees and task forces. Specializing in strategic planning, cultural competence, ethics, international affairs and board governance, she also oversees organizational budgets and manages professional staff of the ICF. Magda is also a trained coach – she received her training from the College for Executive Coaching, and also holds a certificate in the Fundamentals of Systemic Coaching.

Magdalena brings over a decade of experience in fundraising, consulting and association management. Prior to joining International Coach Federation in October 2005, Magda held a position of Assistant Director of National Policy and Director of Development and the Council of State Governments, a national association of state officials in all three branches of government. During her tenure at CSG, Magda also worked closely with the USAID’s US-Asia Environmental Program, overseeing the grants program in 11 nations of South-East Asia.

Martha heads the Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) Regional Secretariat and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the organization. In this role, she ensures that FAWE Regional Secretariat’s fiscal operations, fundraising, advocacy, human resource and programmatic strategies are effectively implemented across the FAWE network.
She is a development specialist with more than 20 years of experience in the civil society sector nationally, regionally, and internationally. Her areas of expertise include Organization Management and Program Coordination with practical experience in Programme Management: Design, Planning and implementation of varied programs, Gender Mainstreaming, Gender Budgeting and Audit, Governance, Strategic Planning, Training and Facilitation, Advocacy, Budgeting and Budget Control, Participatory Methodologies and Approaches and Monitoring and Evaluation. Martha is passionate about women’s rights and girl’s empowerment and continues to mentor young women to take up their spaces.

Prof. Philip Mulama Nyangweso is a full Professor of Agricultural Economics and Resource Management. He Served as Principal, Moi University Odera Akang’o College Campus for 4 years. He has organized and continue to organize international conferences in Africa and globally on Agricultural Economics and Farm Management issues by mobilizing funds and professionals as a Council member of International Farm Management Association headquartered in the United Kingdom and a President of Africa Farm Management Association.

Dr. Oyewole is a tri-sector executive and professional with experience in the public, private and non-government sectors, and a veteran in the management of international institutions.

Until his appointment at PAFO, he was the CEO of the African Agribusiness Alliance, Accra, Ghana; former Managing Director of the African Cashew Alliance, Accra, Ghana; former Executive Director/CEO of the African Petroleum Producers Organization’s Fund for Technical Cooperation (now African Energy Investment Corporation, AEICORP), Cotonou, Benin Republic. He also served as Deputy Secretary-General of the West African Bankers Association (WABA) in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

He is also an experienced banker having served as General Manager at “Banque Internationale du Benin, Cotonou, Benin Republic”, and Senior Economist with the Nigerian Industrial Development Bank (now Bank of Industry), Lagos, Nigeria. He served as a regional Consultant on natural resources management policy for local content and local economic development linkages in African resource-rich countries with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) based in Geneva. He is also a member of Africa Regional Experts on Policy Dialogue on Natural Resource-based Development at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Paris, France

Esmaré currently fulfils the role of Regional Director for Africa for the International Congress and Convention Association. Her key focus is to deliver ICCA services, products and events, for the recruitment and retention of members and for maintaining and enhancing ICCA’s reputation and awareness amongst target markets.

She has extensive experience in the international marketing and sales arena. Before joining ICCA, she managed the International Sales portfolio at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).
Prior to her joining the CTICC she worked at Arabella Starwood South Africa, promoting the 5* Westin Cape Town and the Arabella Western Cape Hotel & Spa. She was also part of the opening team that started the Cape Town Convention Bureau where she fulfilled the role of promoting Cape Town to the meetings, incentive, conference and exhibition industry with a focus on Association Marketing and Research.
Esmaré is currently a member of SAACI, the Southern African Association for the Conference Industry, and has served on the SAACI National Board as Venues Forum Chair as is currently a Board member of the SAACI Western Cape Chapter. She also serves on the Board of the African Society of Association Executives.
She has been awarded the SAACI Fellowship Award in 2017 as well as the Top 40 Women in MICE in both 2017 and 2015.

Gregg founded TMG in 1987 with his father after prior experience in association and event management along with destination marketing experience. For the past 33 years TMG has provided association management services and consulting to national and international associations. In addition, TMG provides major event and citywide convention planning for clients across the US and around the globe working as a core PCO.

In 2016, Gregg helped launch the African Society of Association Executives as a Management Advisor and provides training and education across the continent to African association leaders on a pro bono basis.

In 2018, Gregg launched association management company joint ventures in Africa, based in Nairobi, Kenya and India, based in Delhi. He is a frequent traveler to Kenya where he has family.

Gregg also consults with destinations globally at the city and national level on business event strategy and national association development to align with strategic growth sectors.

Gregg serves on many destination and national advisory boards and is active in speaking and writing about industry issues. He is a past National Chair of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and is currently Treasurer on the Board of the International Convention and Congress Association (ICCA).

Dr. Paul Yonga is a Consultant Infectiologist and Clinical Epidemiologist in private practice in Nairobi, Kenya, where he runs a specialized ambulatory infectious diseases and tropical/travel medicine service at CA Medlynks Clinic and Laboratory, Nairobi, and serves as a visiting infectious diseases consultant to various hospitals in Kenya. He has 10 years of experience serving as a medical practitioner in both the public and private health care sectors in Kenya as well as in the United Kingdom (UK) and the wider European region.

Dr. Yonga holds an MBChB from Kampala International University in Uganda, a MSPH in Tropical Medicine and International Health from the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp, Belgium, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (FRCP Edin).
He trained in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases in the UK, Belgium, Sweden, Germany, Norway, and the Netherlands, and underwent additional training in travel medicine at the University of the Witwatersrand and the Travel Doctor Corporate Clinics in Johannesburg, South Africa.

CISSE Yssoufou is an accomplished manager working for 18 years
in Public Transports sector.

A Civil Engineer degree holder from ESTP (Ecole Superieure des
Travaux Publics) in Yamoussoukro-Côte d’Ivoire, He got a
Postgraduate certificate in Transport Economics from LET -
University of Lyon (France), in 2010.

He previously worked for SOTRA (Urban Transport Company of
Abidjan) before moving to UATP (African Association of Public
Transport) in 2008.

As the Director of Research and Development at UATP, he was in
charge of projets management, membership development and
member’s technical advisory.

In August 2015, He was appointed Secretary General of UATP.
Member of Executive Committee of SSATP/World Bank, and,
member of Infrastructure Advisory Group of African Union
Commission (AUC-IAG) for PIDA (Programme for Infrastructures
Development in Africa), He is taking part to the Dialogue
discussions of African Union’s Specialized Technical Committee for Transport (AUC-STCT).

His last 15 years have been spent on planning and organizing
regional and International conferences in Transport and Mobility.
This normally involved Congress, Forums, Seminars, Workshops,
Study Tours, Capacity building and mobility projects funded by
partners for Africa.
